The Future Doctors Academy will be hosting a number of Medical Skills Summer Programs
These are not-to-be-missed events!

Workshop 1: Hands Hygiene in a Clinical Setting
Workshop 2: How to Scrub for Surgery
Workshop 3: How to Draw Blood and set-up an IV Line
Workshop 4: Heart Sounds, Oximetry and Heart Rate
Workshop 5: Suturing Workshop How to Tie Surgical Knots and Suture Wounds
Workshop 6: Airway Management – using Mannequins
Workshop 7: How to do and Open Reduction of a Fractured Long Bone

For Future Doctors High School Program Perth, Australia - January 16-20, 2017 Registrations closed (over-subscribed!!) - five intensive days of clinical skills training - maximum 30 students.
For Future Doctors Prestige International Premed Program, South Africa - May 21 – June 11, 2017 Registrations open (few places still available) clinical skills training, shadowing and mentoring, plus lots of fun - maximum 10 selected students.
For Future Doctors Prestige International Premed Program, Zambia - June 11-30, 2017 Registrations open (few places still available) clinical skills training, shadowing and mentoring, plus lots of fun - maximum 10 selected students.
The B.E.S.T. Academy For Future Doctors High School Program Tampa Florida June 2017 - dates to be anounced soon! Five intensive days of clinical skills training.
For Future Doctors High School Program Boone NC July 5-27, 2017 The Boone program includes a week of clinical skills PLUS 3 weeks of high level medical research.
Duke University - For Future Doctors Program - Durham NC - October (dates to be finalized), 2017 Four days of intensive clinical skills training. (Attendance: Duke Apprentice Doctor Chapter members only).
The Livingstone - For Future Doctors Program - Livingstone Zambia - December 11 to 23, 2017 Closed for registrations.
