Faer or summer research at home institution?

Hi all,

I found out that I got off the waitlist for the faer summer research program but ended up setting up a research project at my home institution in pm&r. At this moment, I'm more interested in pm&r than anesthesiology but I was wondering if the prestige of faer would be more beneficial for residency applications even in other specialties.
