About to finalize my elective schedule.. will this raise some red flags with Program Directors.. I am applying to both Neurology and Psychiatry, and understand that being perceived as "second choice" is not nececarily good. With that said here is what i have.

Geriatrics
Ambulatory Medicine
Neurology elective
Endocrinology
Cardiology AI
NeuroPsychiatry
Forensic Psychiatry
Emergency Psychiatry
Neurology elective
Critical Care

will Neuropsychiatry be looked at as a bridge or as a pure psych elective? any advice appreciated.

I don't see a problem here, regardless of how your neuropsych rotation is perceived. FWIW, I would have no concerns about a prospective neuro candidate taking a neuropsych elective. All of this is much more about how you spin it than how it looks on the surface.
