I did some searching on the forums but couldn't really find anything in relation to Au.D on the topic.

I think that I need to earn a masters to compete to be accepted into a Audiology program (probably San Deigo / San Fran's)
    I earned a 2.9 GPA, B.A Communication Sciences & Deaf Studies - Audiology.

    I'm considering grabbing:

M.S Psychology - Applied Research @ Capella Online University.
M.S Counseling - MFT @ My local university (CSU - Fresno)

I'm not necessarily asking for a contrast between the two programs, Im looking for a stepping stone. Is it worth getting a masters for the purpose of having a better GPA to apply to a doctoral program?

Would it reflect badly that my CSDS - Audiology is a 2.9? My major GPA is 3.0. My last 60 is 3.1, if that's important.

I am genuinely interested in Psychology, and would consider a Psy.D after finishing either. So it's not like I'm pointlessly pursing psychology.

I don't currently see a route for me that ends with Au.D if this isn't a good route. I am passionate about a future involving working as an Audiologist.
