Hello,

I'm currently enrolled in a Pre-Health Post-Bacc program interested in applying to DO school. I'm concerned about my GPA and whether my application is worth considering. My cGPA is in Management Consulting and is 2.8. I have Master's in Kinesiology and finished with a 3.78 GPA. Upon completion, my Post-Bacc sGPA should be 3.8.

I have lots of EC's and I'm currently working in a breast cancer research lab.

Would my application be worth looking at?

I'm afraid I cannot answer your question, but was curious about where you are doing your post-bacc? I am currently in the process of applying for a few.

I'm doing my post bacc at Charles Drew University in Los Angeles
Hi!
Im thinking about applying to Charles Drew post bacc program and was wondering your opinion about the program? Is it competitive to get into the program and what made you decide to attend Charles Drew University? Thanks!

Charles Drew recently revamped their post-bacc program, emphasizing increasing GPA, increasing MCAT, and incorporating clinical hours. I loved my experience at CDU, and wouldn't trade it. My sGPA has increased substantially. Class sizes are small and the professors are easily accessible. Most people in the program have the same goals as you, so it's nice to have the same support. The strength of CDU is in its faculty and there so many people who will invest countless hours in mentoring students. I am from Los Angeles, so it was important for me to attend a university with a mission to eliminate health disparities and give back to the community. It is a competitive program to get into-applicants should express how they are going to give back to the community.
Thanks so much!!
