Dipyridamole is used sometimes for cardiac stress test. It can worsen reactive airway disease and cause bronchospasm. Why is this? It increases cAMP which should cause bronchodilation...

Dipyridamole also increases adenosine levels which is more pronounced than cAMP's effect on bronchus.
