I am writing regarding a one year T32-funded dermatology research fellow position in the Department of Dermatology at Indiana University. The start date is 7/1/17.

The four areas of basic research that fellows may study include 1) Atopic dermatitis and Allergic Diseases 2) Melanoma and Non-Melanoma Skin Cancer 3) Human Papillomavirus and 4) Stem cells and regenerative medicine. The dermatology fellow will perform basic cutaneous biology research with a principal investigator with expertise in one of the above mentioned areas of investigation. Other training includes that related to bioethics, statistics, grant writing and exposure to clinical dermatology.

Applicants should have a Ph.D., an M.D. or both, be a U.S. citizen or permanent U.S. resident (e.g. green card holder) and be interested in basic cutaneous biology research. Experience in basic research is required for admission to this program. Please note that applicants do NOT need to have completed PGY-1 to apply.

Those interested in applying should send their CV and a cover letter to [email protected] by June 22, 2017.
