Conversion disorder and the brain?

I know conversion disorder is considered a funational disorder presentin with neurological symptoms that are thought to be psychological in nature.

Although there may initially be a psychological trigger, is it possible that this disorder has some pathophysiology in the brain that just had yet to be discovered?
