Clinical electives

Which medical colleges accepts IMG who has not given step 1 for clinical electives?? What are the chances to get accepted for electives there??

Many Universities have Step 1 score requirements for elective/observership programs. It my be more beneficial to pass Step 1 before partaking in any clinical experience.

Hi there! I'm completely new to the forum and have a few questions regarding the clinical electives...

I'm currently a 5th year medical student from South Africa and am keen to do my internship in the USA ( next year is my final year). Please may you provide me with information about the duration of these electives, what is covered during this period, what is required, and if you have to approach a medical school ( essentially the process of applying) . I'm assuming that because it is considered part of medical training , it is unpaid ?
