Hey, I just read this on the UK government website it reads: "From the academic year 2018/19 international students will need to fund their own clinical placements, in addition to tuition and costs they currently pay" , "their training is subsidized with their clinical placement costs being met by the government, this is a substantial cost, currently over 110,000 pounds per student"

Can someone please clarify what this means, in terms of increases to costs/workload required to study in the UK? Kind of lost.

Thanks :)
Could you link the source, please?

I find it strange and don't think anything will change in regards to fees - I mean, internationals pay a higher rate precisely because we're not subsidized by the government in any way.
