I have a 3.6 GPA but graduated summa cum laude. I have great LORs. I submitted my AAMC app Aug 2nd but it won't be reviewed until Aug 26. My MCAT won't be taken until Sept 9 (don't think I will do too hot). I have good experiences, leadership roles, lab assistant, worked with a lot of administrators. Will I be able to get into med school? What are my chances?

Come back when you have your MCAT score, and then we can advise.

The MCAR is a career deciding, high stales exam. Do NOT take it until you are 100% ready.

I'm taking the MCAT sept 9th. I've submitted the application. I'm worried because it will be reviewed by the Aug. 26

"No, MCAT scores do not hinder nor have any bearing on your AMCAS application being verified and processed." is what I was told
Verified and processed is not the same as being reviewed. How can an Admissions Dean or a screener decide whether to reject or invite you on the basis of an app that doesn't have an MCAT score?

Your application won't start review until mid October unfortunately
