Canadian Citizen, UK medical school?

I'm Canadian. If I go to the UK for medical school where will I be able to practice when I'm done? Can I practice in the UK? Do I have to get some sort of special visa to work in the UK since I'm Canadian?

I think as long as you do your residency there you can practice there. I'm not sure about the specifics, the folks who are regulars on the international forum would be more knowledgable about this.
