I am a British Citizen with a Primary Medical Qualification from Bolivia. I have completed an acceptable Internship and passed IELTS to the required level.

My research has indicated that my next step would be PLAB but rcently my qualification has been recognised by the ministry of Education in Spain. Is my qualification now considered a spanish qualification because now I hold the same paperwork as a Spanish qualified doctor?

I have not studied a specialisation yet, but when using the GMC tool for registration options if I say I have a a specialisation from Spain one of the supporting documents required is the one from the ministry of education which I now hold.

This is a complex area, I have also tried investigating if I have EU rights but have been unable to clarify this and wonder if being recognised in Spain is enough to show EU rights.

I would appreciate any advice

Thank you
