I'm in my fifth and final year of med school in Australia and instead of starting work next year I'm thinking of doing the honours extension year that my university offers. I'd really like to do it in the US as a way of sneaking in some travel before ending college life for good.
My interests lie mainly in the fields of cardiology and ophthalmology; I guess my question is do any of you know of any specialists in these fields who would be interested in taking on a student for research in 2018? I know it's a broad request but my other option is to literally email every cardio/ophthal in the US (it's been done before by my seniors).
Any help/advice would be much appreciated, cheers
