I've been reviewing the ADAT schools tracker sheet that lists which schools either Require, accept, or don't accept results of the ADAT. If the majority of the schools we are applying to (GPR/AEGD) aren't even on the list (I even reviewed each school site and nowhere does it say ADAT) is it worth signing up for the exam and submitting it? Any help is appreciated thanks!

If you are certain you want to practice general dentistry only then you probably don't need to worry about taking the exam if the programs you are applying to don't require it. But if there is a possibility you may want to want to pursue a different residency after your gpr/aegd you might as well take it now. Many people use a gpr/aegd as a stepping stone for a specialty residency. You probably won't want to study for it after you have graduated.
