Per SF Match, the first batch is likely to distribute on Wednesday. Probably a ways out from first invite but let's keep the same format as past years (e.g. Program name (email/call date): dates offered). Good luck to us all applying this cycle - looking forward to meeting many of you!

Has anyone received a supplemental application from Nassau? Do they need three LOR's (one of which being the dean's LOR) to be submitted to the program or do I misunderstand what they want? Thank you!

Anyone know if the supplemental application has to be submitted before scheduling the interview? I know it has to be returned prior to the interview itself, but I am unclear how urgent this is, especially given the need for three letters to be submitted directly to the program.

Does anybody else got this message from downstate? "Would not save in order no matter how I tried. See scan of my handwritten order to send interview invitation." I'm just trying to see if it was just an erroneous message that was sent to all applicants

Strong program. However, if you're interested in pursuing retina then it might not be the best program for that at the moment.

I have been super excited all day to have gotten an interview here. Did you interview there? The only question I have right now is how hard is call with only 2 residents per class?

The program lost its high-profile Chair and Program Director to Stanford recently. Definitely not the strongest program if you are interested in Retina.

For those who are receiving interview invitations, did you submit your CAS application before 9/1? I submitted mine on 9/1 and have not heard back from any program, so it is starting to worry me. I will delete this post if it is inappropriate for this thread. Thanks.

When was your app "made available", and did you apply to many of the above nine programs? A minority of programs have deadlines before 9/3 or 9/4, by which I'd wager your app was disseminated. It looks like only a few programs have sent out invites so far, don't fret (so much easier said than done right now)!

Thanks for the reply. You are absolutely right that it is still early. Mine was complete and distributed on 9/1, and I applied to most of the programs on the list above. Granted, I am not a stellar student, but I like to think that I am an average applicant (240s, some ophtho papers and abstracts). I hope there is no red flag on my app or letters without my realizing.
