Is this a good normal ratio or is this a sign that dentistry is growing saturated? This is for an IHS site that I applied to in rural NM and a site in rural MT has the same ratio. I'm guessing at least 5 of the applicants have 10+ years of experience. I know other industries like law and pharmacy may have worse ratios, but then industries like medicine have ratios of 1 applicants for multiple positions in rural areas.

Take what I say with a grain of salt, but I do notice that dentists say public health position do get filled up pretty fast. On the other hand, rural dentists are still having a hard time finding associates/someone to buy.

Could be an indication of number of things. Doesn't necessarily mean rural is getting saturated.
